Local Priorities House burglary Update

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding House burglary, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Criminal Damage on Spring Bank.
The incident occurred between 00:01 20/05/25 & 19:38 22/05/25. The offender(s) approached a small block of flats and entered through an unsecure communal door. They then tried to kick in a ground floor flat door, but were unsuccessful.

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 25*70074.

Burglary is a particularly invasive crime that can have a lasting impact on victims. If you have been a victim and need support and help, you should have been offered the services of Victim Support. Burglars do not want to get caught, so taking action to make your home or business premises safe and less attractive to thieves can go a long way to reducing the risk.
